What Does the Scholarship Cover?
This scholarship offers renewable awards to Michigan high school graduates who have earned a diploma, certificate of completion, or equivalency certificate from 2023 or later.
Eligible students can receive up to $5,500 per year if they attend a Michigan public university. Those enrolled in a Michigan community or tribal college may receive $2,750 annually. Students attending a Michigan private university can receive up to $4,000 per year. These awards aim to cover tuition, fees, and other mandatory educational expenses, less any other gift aid the student receives
How to Apply
Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to demonstrate financial need. A student’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be $25,000 or less. The scholarship is available for up to five consecutive years of full-time enrollment at eligible Michigan institutions. To remain eligible, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress.
